Edwin Ramirez is a freelance non-fiction cinematographer and editor with over 20 years of experience.  He has extensive field experience and is specialized in the creation of Network news for broadcast, documentary content, digital media and the direction of corporate videos and commercials.  

He began his career in Univision Chicago in 2000 as a Videographer/Editor, and later moved on to work as an ENG News videographer with NBC/Telemundo.  In 2009 he transitioned to network news, covering a variety of assignments for FOX Sports Network, Mundo FOX Network in Los Angeles, VICE News, BEIN Sports, CNN en Español, Chicago Tribune, Telemundo Network in Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami. He currently working for ABC and WGN News in Chicago and Telemundo Network News as a freelance ENG Photographer/Editor/Producer.

He is often hired to work as the sole cinematographer on small documentary crews,  able to run sound while shooting as well as field produce from behind the camera when needed.

His on-location experience in the news and documentary production lends efficiency and speed when working with larger crews. His vast experience and professionalism enable him to adapt to client storytelling needs and deliver great content.
